About Our Practice

Litchfield Laser Skin Care offers a variety of aesthetic skin care services under the direction of Elizabeth B. Galan, MD. Dr. Galan regularly attends national meetings and continues to add new technologies and skin care products. All of the medical equipment used by Litchfield Laser Skin Care is FDA approved. All pretreatment consultations are with the physician. These thirty minute initial visits include a medical history, skin typing, and “before” photographs. The patient’s goals and expectations are discussed and the appropriate procedures are selected. A treatment plan is developed and reviewed with the patient. Depending on the procedure, treatments may be performed by Dr. Galan or a member of the staff who is specially trained in the procedure. All treatments at Litchfield Laser Skin Care requiring the use of a medical laser as well as all injections are performed by the physician.

Looking good is only part of feeling good. Dr. Galan also maintains a consultative practice in Anti-Aging Medicine. Anti-Aging Medicine is preventive medicine focused on a low glycemic index diet, exercise, dietary supplements, and bio-identical hormone replacement. It does not treat any disease and is not a substitute for your primary care physician. It is an integrative type of medicine which takes an evidence based approach to utilize the best of allopathic and alternative therapies.
